Students are in all different places at the moment. Some students are finishing up test corrections and retakes, some did a scavenger hunt activity for multiplying fractions. HOWEVER, EVERYONE needs to complete pp. 83-84 (18-23). These are word problems. Students need to have tried something for each one, even if they really don't feel confident about it.

Some students wanted to finish their quiz retakes at home. The Quiz was written on the board, so I'll include it here:

Write the definitions of the following words:

1.) opposite

2.) absolute value

3.) integer

4.) whole number

5.) rational number

6.) multiple

7.) factor

Change to a decimal: (round to the nearest tenth)

8.) 5/11

Use a division ladder to find the LCM and GCF:

9. 48 and 54

Some students wanted to finish their Addition and Subtraction of Fractions retakes at home. The problems were on the board, so I'll include them here:

1.) 71 2/10 - 52 17/20

2.) 9 5/16 + 20 1/20

3.) A baker put 2/7 cup of baking power in a large batch of cookies, then needed to put in 3/5 cup more. How much baking powder is in the mix now?

4.) In the school parking lot 11/12 of the cars have snowy windshields. If 3/4 of all the cars' owners clean their windshields, what fraction of the cars' windshields are still snowy?
