Students had assignments returned to them that need correcting. These corrections must be completed by tomorrow for students to get credit for them.

Students, the assignment is about the PROCESS of solving one-step equations. I know you know other ways to get the answers to them. However, we are practicing a process using simple math to build comfort and automaticity. Next year you'll be using more complex terms and have to solve the equations. If you have the foundation, those more complex terms will not cause you a problem.
