You may do the whole problem for 1 and 2 on the page. They have been set up for you, complete with the formula for area that you have to use.
Use the same format to do 5-8: write the formula, plug in the correct values from the problem, work the problem.
MAKE SURE TO WRITE THE FORMULA EVERY TIME!
Problems 5 and 7 give you a figure already with the parts labeled. You do not have to redraw the figure because you can write right on it in the book if you need to.
For problems 6 and 8, you MUST draw the figure and label it with the information from the problem BEFORE beginning to work the problem.
